Audiological Evaluations

We will preform a series of diagnostic procedures assessing the entire ear and hearing sensitivity. After testing, we will discuss the type, degree and configuration of hearing loss. Together we will develop a plan, unique to your listening needs and lifestyle in order to improve the ease of communication.

Ear Wax Inspection & Removal

Ear wax is usually beneficial and should not be removed. However, sometimes an individual may produce too much ear wax, which can result in muffled hearing. Some people even experience tinnitus, or a ringing in their ears. Let our professionals help with safe extraction of ear wax.

Listening Demonstrations

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of modern hearing technology in your own home. Whether you currently struggle to hear your spouse, grandchildren or the television, our live listening demonstrations will highlight some of the sounds you’ve been missing. This gives you confidence and peace of mind before purchasing.

Hearing Aid Fittings

Hearing aids work best when fitted and adjusted properly by a professional. We work with all of the major hearing aid manufacturers to offer our patients all the best solutions. We use state-of-the-art equipment, including Real Ear Measures, when fitting and adjusting your hearing aids, to ensure optimal hearing aid settings for you and your lifestyle.

30 Day Trial Period

In addition to the in-home listening demonstrations, we also offer a 30-day trial period with all of our products. This gives you the opportunity to try the hearing aids in a variety of environments you encounter daily, ensuring your satisfaction. Expect the adjustment to hearing aids to take time. It takes patience and time to become comfortable with amplified sound. If for whatever reason you feel the hearing aids are not beneficial, we can exchange them for something different, or simply return them. It’s your call! However, we are confident we will find the right solution for you!

Counseling Services

Hearing aids are not meant to restore hearing, as it is an incredibly intricate and complex sense. This does not mean hearing aids are not beneficial! Motivation, along with realistic expectations, are the primary keys to successful use of amplification. It is easy to forget how impactful hearing loss can be, as is it often referred to as an invisible disability. In many cases, hearing loss has been present for years, even decades, gradually becoming worse and worse. People tend to adapt and accommodate to their hearing loss; asking people to speak louder, asking for repetition, or over time, simply withdrawing from social activities altogether and becoming more isolated. Additionally, more research is starting to identify a relationship between hearing loss and more serious conditions like, the increased risk of falling and developing dementia*. We will make sure to take the time to address all of your questions and concerns and offer a treatment plan designed for you.

Aural Rehabilitation

Finding the correct hearing solution is only half of the battle against hearing loss! Aural, or hearing, rehabilitation helps people rebuild auditory skills they may have lost. Hearing rehabilitation not only helps you come to terms with your hearing loss, but also provides you the information necessary to make positive change and improve your quality of life. Hearing loss varies on an individual basis, so what worked well for one person may not work so well for another. We take the time to speak with family and friends on the importance of maintaining good communication strategies, both at home and out socializing in noisy environments. This information has proven to be invaluable in helping people with and without hearing loss improve communication.
